Why we're building this
Many of us live away from our parents and know how hard it is to support them from a distance.
Sahaay is built to bridge that gap with trusted, on-ground help—so the small things get done, and the big worries get smaller. We're starting small, with a handful of families, so we can get every visit right.
We're still early, but we're building this closely with families like yours.
— The Sahaay team
The everyday gap
Many seniors don't need constant care—but they do need reliable help in moments that are difficult to handle alone.
From booking appointments to managing hospital visits, tests, and follow-ups—healthcare often becomes stressful without someone to assist at every step.
Bank visits, paperwork, errands, and coordination often require multiple trips and long waits—making them exhausting and frustrating.
In urgent situations, seniors may hesitate to reach out or not know who to call—especially when family is far away.

How Sahaay helps
Sahaay is a non-medical support and companionship service. Think of us as a kind, reliable extension of your family—on the ground, when you can't be.
Verified, trained companions
Every companion is background-checked, interviewed and trained in elder care etiquette.
On-demand or scheduled visits
Book a one-off visit or set a recurring weekly routine—whatever your parents need.
Real-time updates to family
Get a friendly note, photo and visit summary the moment a companion finishes a visit.

The people behind every visit
We call them Sahaayaks—a small, handpicked group of trained assistants, students and locals who genuinely enjoy helping elders with their daily needs.
Many are college students, graduates or young professionals—comfortable with paperwork, hospitals and conversations across generations.
A good number join us simply wanting to spend time with elders—giving back through company, errands and small acts of help.
We choose for warmth and reliability first. Many have cared for their own grandparents and bring that same patience along.
We're currently onboarding and training our first set of companions.

Beyond medical care
Most days don't need a doctor. They need someone to step out with your parent, run errands together, and make the ordinary feel easier. That's where our companions quietly show up.
Companions accompany your parent to the bank, post office or government office—handling queues, forms and follow-ups patiently.
Groceries, bill payments, repairs, festive shopping—small tasks that become much easier with a steady hand alongside.
A companion for evening walks, temple visits, or meeting old friends—so days feel lighter and less isolating.
Sharing tea, a long conversation, or help with a smartphone—company that turns ordinary days into good ones.
We're opening Sahaay to the first 100 families. Early users are helping us shape the service—tell us about your parents and we'll personally reach out as we open in your city.
